  1. Cut the chicken into pieces and boil in hot water until cooked through.
  2. Remove the chicken and shred it into fibers.
  3. Add the trahanas, the chicken water (broth), and the stock cube to the pot.
  4. Stir occasionally while it boils over medium heat.
  5. Once it thickens, add the shredded chicken.

Notes

  • Weigh the water when adding it to the pot to cook the trahanas and top it up as needed to reach a total of 1700 grams, as a significant amount of water will surely evaporate while the chicken is cooking.
  • You can soak the trahanas in water before cooking to soften it and help it cook faster.
  • You can add light halloumi along with the chicken at the end, but the macronutrients will definitely differ.
