  1. 1. Cook the octopus over medium heat until the liquids evaporate.
  2. 2. Add the olive oil and sauté.
  3. 3. Add the onion and sauté until it changes color.
  4. 4. Add the tomato paste, tomatoes, hot water, juice, stock, salt, pepper, and cinnamon, and stir.
  5. 5. Add the bay leaf, cover with the lid, and cook over medium heat for about 35 minutes or until the sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.
  6. 6. When the sauce begins to thicken, cook the pasta in hot water for 1-2 minutes less than the package instructions and drain.
  7. 7. Add the shrimps to the pan, stir, cover, and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  8. 8. Transfer the pasta to the pan, stir, and divide into 5 portions.

Notes

  • You can use a whole octopus.
  • The shrimps I used are size 20/40.
  • Bowl capacity: 650ml.
