Directions

  1. Place the oats in a blender and grind well until powdered.
  2. Add the rice cakes, cocoa powder, and chia seeds, and blend until broken down.
  3. Add the yogurt, maple syrup, and optionally the vanilla extract.
  4. Blend until the mixture comes together, then shape into small balls.
  5. Transfer to a non-stick baking tray.
  6. Bake at 150掳C for about 20 minutes and allow them to cool completely.

Notes

  • Oven setting: fan assisted with top and bottom heating elements.
  • To prevent them from burning, stir the balls every 5-10 minutes during baking.
  • Instead of balls, you can spread the mixture on the tray and break it into small pieces once it has cooled after baking.
