Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine the eggs, applesauce, and optionally the stevia, and whisk until smooth.
  2. Add the protein powder, flours, and baking powder, and stir to combine.
  3. Transfer the batter to a piping bag and fill the cavities of the donut pan.
  4. Bake at 180°C for 8-10 minutes.
  5. Prepare the glaze by mixing the protein powder with the milk.
  6. Once the donuts have cooled completely, dip them into the glaze.

Notes

  • In this recipe, 1 serving is considered to be 1 donut.
  • Do not overbake, as they will become too dry. Use a toothpick to ensure they are not raw in the center.
  • Oven settings: heating elements or fan with heating elements.
  • You can replace the glaze with melted dark or white chocolate.
  • To make the chocolate glaze, substitute the vanilla protein with chocolate protein and add 5g of cocoa powder.
  • The glaze quantity is sufficient for 6 donuts. If you want to make chocolate donuts as well, prepare half the amount of vanilla glaze and half the amount of chocolate glaze.
  • You can sprinkle sprinkles over the glaze layer.
