  1. 1. Measure the rice and water, and transfer them to the pot.
  2. 2. Place over medium heat and once it reaches a boil, cover with the lid.
  3. 3. Cook for approximately 8-10 minutes or until the water is completely absorbed.
  4. 4. Remove from the heat and leave it covered in the pot for another 10 minutes.
  5. 5. Divide into portions and serve or store.

Notes

  • The ratio is 1:1.25, so for every 1 cup of rice, you add 1+1/4 cups of water.
  • The rice does not need washing.
  • It is important to keep it covered during cooking, so I recommend not checking it unnecessarily.
