Ingredients

Directions

  1. Pat the fruit pieces dry with paper towels.
  2. Place the flour, the breadcrumbs, and the egg, which has been beaten, into 3 separate bowls.
  3. Dredge the pieces first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
  4. Transfer to the air fryer basket or a baking tray and spray with oil spray.
  5. Bake for approximately 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Empty into a bowl, drizzle with the honey, and toss.
  7. Optionally, serve with ice cream.

Notes

  • Cornstarch (corn flour) can be used instead of all-purpose flour.
  • Less than 100g of flour will actually stick, but it's better to use more to ensure they are evenly breaded.
  • Less than 100g of breadcrumbs will actually stick, but it's better to use more to ensure they are evenly breaded.
  • If you have the choice between an air fryer or an oven, I recommend the air fryer for a crispier result.
  • Oven settings: 200°C fan or fan with heating elements.
  • Air fryer settings: 190°C.
  • The macronutrients do not include the ice cream.
