  1. Mix the water with the yeast, applesauce, stevia, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  2. Crumb the roasted chestnuts.
  3. Transfer them to the bowl along with the flour.
  4. Knead very well.
  5. Let it rest for 1 hour.
  6. Deflate the dough and divide into 17 balls.
  7. Fold the edges inward and shape into spheres.
  8. Arrange on the baking tray in the shape of a tree.
  9. Let it rest for another 1 hour.
  10. Bake at 180°C for approximately 25 minutes.

Notes

  • In this recipe, 1 serving is considered to be 1 bread roll.
  • Knead the dough well for 5-10 minutes until you get the texture I'm showing, meaning it should be elastic.
  • It is better to let the dough rest, and then the buns, in a warm place to rise.
  • For each ball, fold the edges inward and then shape into a sphere to help the buns rise.
