  1. Crack the egg into a bowl, whisk it, and set aside.
  2. Transfer all the patties into a large bowl and mash them with your hands or a potato masher.
  3. Open the dough sheet and cut out circles using a lid.
  4. Remove the excess dough.
  5. Repeat until you have 15 circles.
  6. Brush with the egg wash and add the filling.
  7. Fold over and seal with a fork.
  8. Transfer to a non-stick baking tray.
  9. Brush again with the egg wash.
  10. Bake at 180掳C for 15-20 minutes.

Notes

  • In this recipe, 1 serving is considered to be 1 savory pastry.
  • Oven setting: top and bottom heating elements.
  • The puff pastry circles I made have a diameter of approximately 8.5cm.
  • If you find it difficult to close the puff pastry, press the circles lightly with your fingers to increase their diameter.
