Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine the minced meat, finely chopped onion, olive oil, spices, oats, and finely chopped parsley; mix well and place in the refrigerator.
  2. Unroll the caul fat, soak it in water and vinegar, then rinse with water and soak again in water and lemon juice.
  3. Drain the liquid and spread the caul fat out on a cutting board.
  4. Shape the meat mixture into 14 sheftalies.
  5. Roll each sheftalia only once and cut away the excess caul fat.
  6. Transfer to a wire rack or a non-stick baking tray.
  7. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 220掳C.

Notes

  • In this recipe, 1 serving is considered to be 1 sheftalia.
  • You can take pork tenderloin and grind it to make the minced meat.
  • If you don't have oat flour, blend oat flakes in the blender until they become powder.
  • From the caul fat, approximately 56-60g in total will be used.
  • Oven setting: fan grill or grill only.
